Accountability partners
Two friends agree to walk together — each keeps a weekly checklist, and both can see how the week went.
Starting a partnership
- Partners must be friends first.
- Open Accountability (from your Friends page), choose a friend and a weekly check-in day, and send the invitation.
- The partnership starts only when your friend accepts — both of you have to agree.
- You can have a partnership with more than one friend, one per friend.
Your weekly checklist
- Each partner keeps their own checklist — things like reading Scripture, praying daily, or attending church. Type your own items or tap a suggestion.
- Tick items off as you go. Each week runs up to and including your check-in day, then a fresh week begins with every box unchecked.
- You can still check off last week's items after the check-in day passes — useful when you meet up a day late.
- Removing an item takes it off future weeks; past weeks keep their history.
Checking in together
- Check-ins happen once a week, on the day you chose. On that day you both get a reminder notification, based on the time zone in each of your Settings.
- You see your partner's checklist (read-only) beside yours, including what's done and what isn't yet.
- Use ‹ Earlier to look back over recent weeks.
- Message opens your direct conversation — a good place to talk through the week and pray for each other.
Changing or ending
- Either partner can change the check-in day; the other gets a notification.
- Either partner can end the partnership at any time. Unfriending or blocking also ends it.
Only the two partners can see a partnership's checklists — they never appear on profiles or anywhere public.
Accountability is about encouragement, not scorekeeping. An unchecked box is an invitation to talk and pray together.
