Private one-on-one conversations — mentor conversations, follow-ups, and personal encouragement.
Using messages
- Messages lists your conversations; open one to reply.
- Scripture references in messages (like “Psalm 23:1”) become hoverable previews automatically.
- Most mentorships begin as a message — request one from the mentor directory.
Oversight for minors
Parents and moderators can view a minor's conversations read-only — shown clearly at the top of the thread. Whether a minor can message at all, and who they can message (anyone, approved mentors only, or no one), is set in Family permissions.
If a conversation ever makes you uncomfortable, use the report option — it goes to the moderation queue, and safety-flagged reports get priority.
